Sean John Photography – Terms & Conditions

 

Welcome, and thank you for choosing Sean John Photography. Please review the following terms and conditions, which apply to all booked sessions and payments made. These terms are designed to protect both your experience and the integrity of our creative work.

1. Booking & Payment

• A 50% deposit is required to reserve your session date.

• The remaining balance is due at the conclusion of your session.

• Session fees cover the photographer’s time, travel, labor, preparation, shooting, and post-session workflow.

• Clients are purchasing a professional photography service. Images are a complimentary bonus, not a product being purchased independently.

2. Complimentary Digital Images

• As a courtesy, a selection of edited digital JPG images is provided following the session at no additional cost.

• These edited images are considered a non-refundable, complimentary gift as part of the booked service.

• The number of complimentary images included varies by session type and will be outlined prior to booking.

• Additional images or edits can be purchased separately at the photographer's discretion.

3. Editing Style & Image Delivery

• All photos are professionally edited in Sean John Photography's signature style.

• Editing includes basic lighting, color correction, cropping, and tonal adjustments.

• Extensive retouching (e.g., skin smoothing, object removal, background swaps) is not included unless agreed upon in writing.

• Images will be delivered within 5–7 business days, unless otherwise noted.

• All digital files are delivered as high-resolution JPGs via a private online gallery.

4. RAW/Unedited Files

• RAW or unedited images are not included and will not be released under any circumstances.

• These files are considered incomplete and do not represent the final artistic product.

5. Refund & Dispute Policy

• All session fees and delivered digital files are non-refundable once delivered.

• Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with style, pose selection, lighting conditions, or other subjective factors.

• Any client concerns must be submitted in writing. Reasonable efforts will be made to address them within the agreed scope of service.

• Clients agree not to pursue chargebacks or payment reversals once the session has taken place and the complimentary images have been delivered.

• In the event of a chargeback, Sean John Photography reserves the right to submit all relevant communication, delivery logs, and proof of terms to the payment processor.

6. Copyright & Usage

• Sean John Photography retains full copyright ownership of all images.

• Clients receive a personal-use license to print, share, and display their delivered images.

• Images may not be altered, resold, or used commercially without prior written consent.

7. Client Expectations

• Photography is an artistic service and outcomes will vary depending on lighting, location, and subject cooperation.

• No specific results are guaranteed.

• By booking a session, the client agrees to trust the creative direction and expertise of Sean John Photography.
